The County Government of Siaya (CGS)<\/strong> has received financing from the World Bank<\/strong> towards Kenya Devolution Support Programme (KDSP)<\/strong> and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Rehabilitation of Siaya Water Supply (Abura Dam) Water Project in North Alego Ward.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The CGS<\/strong> now invites sealed bids from eligible candidates for execution of the Works. <\/strong>Tendering will be conducted under open National competitive method using a standardized tender document. Tendering is open to all quali?ed and interested Tenderers<\/u>.<\/p>\n

Qualified and interested candidates may view, inspect and obtain complete tender documents free of charge from the CGS website (www.siaya.go.ke<\/a>) and the Public Procurement Information Portal (www.tenders.go.ke<\/a>).\u00a0 Tenderers who download the tender document and intend to submit a bid should forward their particulars to supplies@siaya.go.ke<\/a>\u00a0 for recording and for the purpose of receiving any clari?cation and addenda.<\/p>\n

Prices quoted should be net inclusive of all taxes and delivery costs, must be expressed in Kenya shillings and shall remain valid for a period of 98 days from the closing\/opening date of the tender. Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security amounting to Kenya Shillings Eight Hundred Thousand (Kshs. 800,000)<\/strong> in the form of a guarantee acceptable under the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015 and The Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Regulations, 2020, payable to the County Secretary, CGS<\/p>\n

The Tenderer shall chronologically serialise all pages of the tender documents submitted<\/p>\n

Completed tender documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes, clearly marked with the tender identification number and name and be deposited in the Tender Box provided at the main entrance of ALEGO USONGA SUB-COUNTY OFFICES<\/strong> within Siaya Town or be addressed and posted to:<\/p>\n

so as to be received on or before 3rd<\/sup> June, 2022 at 12.00 noon<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of the tenderers representatives who choose to attend at the Alego Usonga Sub-County Offices. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Late tenders will be rejected<\/strong><\/p>\n

PROSPECTIVE TENDERERS ARE REQUESTED TO NOTE THAT THE TENDER SUBMISSION DATE SHALL BE 3RD<\/sup> JUNE, 2022 AND NOT 26TH<\/sup> MAY<\/strong>, 2022<\/strong> AS INDICATED IN THE TENDER NOTICE THAT APPEARED IN THE STANDARD NEWSPAPER OF 10TH<\/sup> MAY, 2022.
