ROADS TENDERS FOR UPGRADING VARIOUS ROODS TO BITUMEN STANDARDS<\/strong><\/p>\n

We refer to the tenders listed below and wish to issue addenda to the tender documents issued as detailed herein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

  1. a) Pre-bid meeting and site meeting<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Clause 7.2 and 7.5 of the Tender Data Sheet (TDS) make reference to Pre-bid and site meetings which were not held and details of the meetings were not included in the Invitation to Tenders. Parameter 10 of the Preliminary Evaluation also requires bidders to submit duly completed and signed Certificates of Tenderer\u2019s Visit to the Sites \/ Pre-bid Meetings attached to the respective tender document as confirmation of attendance of the Mandatory Pre-Tender Meeting and Site Visit. Bidders are requested to note that this parameter has been expunged from the preliminary evaluation criteria as pre-bid and site meetings were not held and there were no certificates issued to bidders<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      1. Item 5.14 - Specific Construction & Contract Management Experience<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        The qualification requirement for all the three tenders in the tender documents issued is \u201ca minimum number of One (1) similar contracts specified below that have been satisfactorily and substantially completed as a prime contractor, joint venture member, management contractor or sub-contractor between 1st January 2018 and tender submission deadline i.e. 1 (Number) contracts, each of minimum value Kenya shillings 60 Million equivalent<\/em><\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

        Tenderers are requested to note that through this addendum, the requirements have \u00a0been amended as per the table below: -<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

        1. Item 5.15 \u2013 Plant & Equipment<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          For evaluation purposes, equipment listed under 5.15 shall be used. Tenderers should ignore the schedule of Contractor\u2019s Plant \/ Equipment immediately after FORM EQU: EQUIPMENT<\/p>\n

          The closing \/ opening date and all other tender conditions remain the same.<\/p>\n
