Pursuant to Article 174 (c) and (d) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010<\/strong>, that gives powers of self-governance to\u00a0the people; seeks\u00a0to enhance\u00a0the participation of\u00a0the people in\u00a0 the exercise of the powers of the State and in making decisions affecting them; and recognizes the right\u00a0of communities to manage their own affairs and to further their development; read together\u00a0\u00a0 with the Section <\/strong>2 <\/strong>of the Urban <\/strong>Areas and <\/strong>Cities <\/strong>Act, <\/strong>No. 13 of 2011 (Revised in 2019) <\/strong>that provides for a Citizen Fora <\/strong>as a forum for residents organized for purposes of participating in the affairs of an urban area or a city, the Department <\/strong>of Lands, Physical Planning, Housing & Urban Development<\/strong>, invites members of the public and other stakeholders to\u00a0 public participation forums to give their views on the design and construction of the proposed Siaya\u00a0Integrated Modern Market and other Economic Stimulus Market Projects (ESP) <\/strong>in Siaya County to\u00a0be held on 1<\/strong>st <\/strong>February <\/strong>2024 <\/strong>at the venues and time listed below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
