The County Government of Siaya and the State Department for Devolution held a workshop to discuss the role of Project Management Committees (PMCs) and address challenges affecting county project implementation.<\/p>\n

PMC Composition and Structure<\/h2>\n

Project Management Committees are ward-based groups comprising:<\/p>\n

  • 7-10 members representing various stakeholders<\/li>\n
  • Persons with disabilities<\/li>\n
  • Development committee representatives<\/li>\n
  • Community-Based Organizations (CBOs)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    These committees are chaired by ward administrators and supervised by County Executive Committee Members (CECMs).<\/p>\n

    • Proper civic education<\/li>\n
