With good care, they can bring real income to our farmers.”

The initiative is projected to yield significant economic benefits, with farmers potentially earning KSh 8 million from selling 10,000 mature chickens at an average price of KSh 800 each within a year. After accounting for costs such as feed, healthcare, and management, farmers could realize a collective profit of approximately KSh 1 million, highlighting the lucrative potential of well-managed poultry farming.

This program reflects the Nyalore Administration’s commitment to diversifying agricultural activities and fostering rural enterprise development, with the goal of promoting sustainable growth and improving residents’ socio-economic status.
