Early testing enables us to detect and treat TB, lung cancer, or any other underlying condition before it becomes severe,\u201d Dr Fwaya said.<\/p>\n<p>She commended the continued collaboration with AMPATH, which has significantly enhanced diagnostic capacity and provided modern screening equipment across county health facilities.<\/p>\n<p>The Department of Health and Sanitation reaffirmed its commitment to promoting early testing and bringing services closer to the people.<\/p>\n<p>Health teams are actively mobilising communities, delivering health education, and urging residents to seek screening at the first sign of symptoms.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Fwaya stressed that safeguarding community health is a collective responsibility.<br \/>\n\u201cCommunity participation is crucial. When we stay informed, work together, and prioritise early screening, we protect not only ourselves but also our families and neighbours,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>The campaign carries a powerful unifying message:?Together, we can protect our lungs.
