Residents urged the County Government of Siaya to prioritize the timely completion of all pending projects from the previous financial year alongside those in the current cycle, ahead of the upcoming elections. This call underscores the residents' desire for tangible progress and accountable service delivery.<\/p>\n

Key projects prioritized for inclusion in the 2026\/2027 budget include:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Construction of the Gombe Early Childhood Development (ECD) Centre;<\/p>\n

\u2022 Construction of a maternity wing at Gombe Dispensary, located in Migwena West;<\/p>\n

\u2022 Upgrading of the Anywongi-Kowaga to Kadera road in Got Abiero Sub-location.<\/p>\n

Residents also raised concerns about the Bur Lowo ECD Centre, highlighting that it currently lacks a conducive learning environment due to insufficient learning materials and equipment. Additionally, there were complaints regarding certain contractors who have abandoned sites without completing assigned works, calling for stricter oversight and accountability measures.<\/p>\n
