\"\"A seamless transition of leadership marked a new chapter for the Department of Tourism, Culture, Sports, and Arts in Siaya County.<\/p>\n

In an official ceremony reflecting mutual respect and institutional continuity, the department\u2019s top leadership officially changed hands, setting a collaborative tone for future development.<\/p>\n

The outgoing Chief Officer, Hon. Judith Oyugi, ceremoniously handed over a well-prepared and comprehensively compiled file to her successor, Mr. Wilfred Nyagudi.<\/p>\n

Speaking during the handover, the outgoing Chief Officer stated that her department had achieved numerous milestones.<\/p>\n

She proudly highlighted the successful hosting of the Kenya Inter-Counties Sports and Culture Association (KICOSCA) games, which saw a large number of counties participating, with Siaya County bagging a significant haul of trophies.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe achievement was due to collective responsibility, teamwork, and the combined effort of all departments, channeled through the Tourism, Culture, Sports and Arts department,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnity, resilience, and collaboration have been the adhesive that has held my team together in overcoming the hurdles we faced,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Oyugi welcomed her successor while passing over the baton of leadership, expressing confidence that he would bring fresh perspectives and energy to the department, taking it to greater heights.
\n\u201cI wish you unparalleled success in your service,\u201d she concluded.<\/p>\n

On his part, the incoming Chief Officer, Mr. Nyagudi, thanked his predecessor for the strong foundation she had built. He said he was glad to take over from a competent leader who had set high standards.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am committed to safeguarding and building upon the progress you have made, expanding market reach, and serving the people of Siaya and beyond in close collaboration with every member of staff,\u201d he promised.<\/p>\n
