He urged staff to draw inspiration from Odinga\u2019s life by striving to make a meaningful and lasting impact through their own work. He reminded attendees that a person\u2019s good deeds endure long after they are gone and called on everyone to foster positivity in every endeavour.<\/p>\n<p>Adding to the tributes, the Director for Sports and Arts, Dr. Sanmac Okoth, offered prayers for Odinga\u2019s soul and lauded him as a monumental statesman whose influence spanned both Kenya and the broader African continent. Describing his passing as a profound tragedy that touched millions, Dr. Okoth highlighted how Odinga was viewed as a father figure\u2014hence the affectionate title \u201cBaba\u201d\u2014and noted that the greatest source of comfort lies in keeping his vision and values alive.<\/p>\n<p>Concluding the speeches, the Director for Tourism and Culture, Dr. Kennedy Oreyo, emphasised the importance of honouring a historic life unlike any other.
