We refer to the tender notice that was published in the Public Procurement Information Portal (www.tenders.go.ke) and the County Government of Siaya Website (www.siaya.go.ke) on 29th January, 2025 inviting sealed tenders for Provision of the above-mentioned WorksAddendum – Clarification On Submission Of Tender Security
It was a requirement in the tender notice and under criteria No. 6 of the preliminary evaluation that Tenders were to be accompanied by a Tender Security amounting to Kenya Shillings Nine Hundred Thousand (900,000) in the form of guarantee acceptable under the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015 and The Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Regulatory, 2020. WE WISH TO CLARIFY THAT SINCE THE TENDER IS RESERVED FOR WOMEN RESIDENTS OF SIAYA COUNTY, THE REQUIREMENT SHALL NOT APPLY AND INSTEAD TENDERS SHALL BE ACCOMPANIED BY A TENDER-SECURING DECLARATION FORM IN THE FORMAT PROVIDED IN THE TENDER DOCUMENT.
All other tender conditions remain the same.
