The Department of Governance, Administration and ICT provides strategic leadership in public administration, policy coordination, and digital transformation within the County Government. It plays a central role in ensuring efficient, transparent, and accountable service delivery through strong governance structures and modern administrative systems. The department is responsible for key functions including human resource management, records and registry services, county coordination, public participation, and civic education. It works to strengthen institutional frameworks that support effective service delivery and citizen-centered governance. In addition, the department leads the adoption of technology across county operations. This includes implementation of e-government services, development and maintenance of ICT infrastructure, automation of processes, and effective data management systems to enhance efficiency and decision-making. Through these efforts, the department promotes responsive governance, encourages active citizen engagement, and drives continuous improvement in public service delivery, positioning the County Government as a forward-looking and technology-driven institution.
