The County Government of Siaya (CGS) invites sealed tenders from eligible Millers or Distributors for the supply of the above-mentioned goods. Firms currently under contract with CGS should not apply, as the purpose of this tender is to expand the existing panel of suppliers.
Tendering will be conducted through Open National Competitive Bidding using a standardized tender document, and is open to all qualified and interested tenderers.
Contracts will be awarded under a Framework Agreement valid for one year, with the option to renew for a further one year based on mutual agreement and satisfactory performance.
Interested applicants can view and download the tender documents free of charge from the CGS website www.siaya.go.ke or the Public Procurement Information Portal www.tenders.go.ke. Tenderers who download the document should immediately submit their contact details to supplies@siaya.go.ke to receive any updates or clarifications.
Tender Requirements:
- Prices must be quoted in Kenyan Shillings, inclusive of all applicable taxes, levies, and delivery charges.
- Prices must remain valid for 98 days from the tender closing date.
- Tenders must include a Tender Security of KES 1,000,000 in a form acceptable under the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015 and related Regulations, payable to the County Secretary, CGS.
- All pages of the submitted tender documents must be sequentially serialized.

The County Government of Siaya, through the Department of Tourism, Culture, Sports and Arts in collaboration with the Executive Office of the Governor, will roll out The Nyalore Governors Cup for football men. This will be a Countywide tournament for talents identification, talent exposure and creation of temporary job opportunities for the Youth – “Kandanda Mashinani, Pesa kwa Vijana!”. The tournament shall be played on weekdays for one month, the whole of December 2023. The one month long tournament will be launched by the Governor Siaya, James Orengo on 1st December 2023 at Sega Mixed Primary School starting at 9.00am. The final match will be played on 1st January, 2024, at the Migwena Sports Group.
