The Department of Tourism, Culture, Sports and Arts is responsible for promoting the county’s cultural heritage, enhancing tourism development, and supporting sports and creative industries as drivers of social and economic growth.
The department identifies, preserves, and promotes cultural sites, traditions, and heritage resources that define the county’s identity. It also works to develop and market tourism products and destinations that attract local and international visitors, while supporting community-based tourism initiatives that create jobs and empower local residents.
In the area of sports and arts, the department nurtures talent through organized competitions, training programs, and cultural festivals. It also supports creative expression and innovation by providing platforms for artists, youth, and cultural groups to showcase their skills.
Through collaboration with communities and development partners, the department aims to position the county as a vibrant center for cultural heritage, tourism excellence, and sports development.
