Following productive and cordial engagements with the Kenya National Union of Pharmaceutical Technologists (KNUPT), the Nyalore administration has successfully addressed key labor concerns, leading to the formal withdrawal of the strike notice issued on June 11, 2026.
Through a comprehensive resolution framework, the administration has fast-tracked the processing of Unified Personnel Numbers, implemented direct salary disbursements via the Central Bank of Kenya to eliminate delays, strengthened timely remittance of statutory deductions, and agreed on a clear process to clear SRC arrears.
These proactive steps underscore the County’s priority on fostering a motivated, stable, and professionally supported health workforce, ensuring uninterrupted quality healthcare services for the people of Siaya.
