The Directorate of Governance hosted a farewell meeting in the Governor’s Boardroom to congratulate attachees on successfully completing their three-month industrial attachment with the County Government of Siaya.
The Director of Governance, Mr. George Okello, moderated the event,welcoming county executives, directors, supervisors, staff, and attachees.
Attachees from Public Communication, Human Resource Management , Governance, and ICT expressed gratitude to the county government for the valuable mentorship, guidance, and practical experience gained during their stay.
In response, the Director of Governance commended their achievements and encouraged them to apply their acquired skills toward their future careers.
The Director of Human Resource Management, Madam Susan Rabah, delivered a speech on behalf of the absent County Executive Committee Member (CECM), praising the attachees’ hard work and noting that true leadership relies on serving with integrity, humility, and professionalism. Adding her own remarks, Madam Rabah urged the students to uphold high ethical standards, observe institutional guidelines, seek mentors, and strive for excellence.
In his closing address, the Chief Officer for Governance and Administration, Mr. Walter Okelo, commended the attachees' contributions to the county offices. He encouraged them to remain resilient and determined when navigating future challenges and opportunities.
