The County Government of Siaya has recorded an overall “Good” performance, with an average score of 3.549, in the FY 2024/25 Annual Performance Contract Evaluation.
The independent evaluation assessed departments and entities across financial stewardship, service delivery, institutional transformation, core mandates and cross-cutting priorities.
Notably, SIBOWASCO emerged as the best-performing entity with a “Very Good” rating, while several departments recorded strong results in their respective core mandates.
The Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Irrigation recorded an overall “Good” rating, with a raw mean score of 3.478. The Department demonstrated particularly strong performance in its Core Mandate & Performance Standards, recording a score of 1.69, while Financial Stewardship and Discipline was rated “Very Good” at 2.93.
The results provide a clear basis for recognising progress while addressing performance gaps as the County strengthens accountability, institutional performance and citizen-centred service delivery.
