The Department of Lands, Physical Planning, Housing and Urban Development officially marked a leadership transition during a handover ceremony held at the CECM’s office.
In his remarks, outgoing CECM Mr. Maurice Otieno McOrege thanked the department staff for their cooperation and support throughout his tenure. He also expressed gratitude to the Governor for entrusting him with the opportunity to serve, noting that despite having a wide range of choices, the Nyalore Government selected him to faithfully serve for the last three years.
Speaking during the ceremony, incoming CECM Mr. Augustine Neto Adhola acknowledged and appreciated the work done by his predecessor, Mr. Maurice Otieno McOrege, and pledged to continue working closely with the staff in the department to enhance service delivery.
The two leaders officially signed the handover documents, symbolizing the formal transfer of authority and leadership within the department.
Among those present were the newly appointed Chief Officer, Hon. Joseph Oloo Mboha, Director of Housing and Urban Development Mr. George Obare, Director of Physical Planning Mr. Maurice Ochieng, and Director of Lands and Survey Mr. Vincent Oluoch.
