The County Government of Siaya (CGS), through the Department of Finance and Economic Planning, invites interested and eligible tenderers to apply for the tenders listed below funded under the Equalization Fund.
Important Notice to Tenderers
To promote equity and facilitate timely implementation of the projects, each tenderer shall submit a bid for a maximum of ONE (1) tender only.
This requirement also applies to Directors submitting bids through different companies or firms. A Director shall not participate in more than one tender advertised under this notice, nor submit multiple bids for the same tender through different firms.
Tenderers who fail to comply with this requirement shall be disqualified and their bids shall not be subjected to evaluation.

Access to Tender Documents
Interested and eligible tenderers may inspect and obtain the complete tender documents free of charge from:
- County Government of Siaya Website: www.siaya.go.ke
- Public Procurement Information Portal (PPIP): www.tenders.go.ke
Tenderers who download the tender documents are required to immediately forward their details to supplies@siaya.go.ke to facilitate communication regarding any clarifications or addenda that may be issued during the tendering period.
Pricing and Tender Security
- Prices quoted shall be net, inclusive of all applicable taxes and delivery costs.
- Prices must be expressed in Kenya Shillings (KES).
- Tender prices shall remain valid for 98 days from the tender closing/opening date.
- Tenders shall be accompanied by either:
- the prescribed Tender Security; or
- a duly completed Tender-Securing Declaration Form, as applicable and provided in the tender document.
- Tenderers shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
Submission of Tenders
Completed tender documents shall be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes clearly marked with the Tender Number and Tender Description, and deposited in the Tender Box located at the Main Entrance of the Alego Usonga Sub-County Offices, Siaya Town, or addressed to:

Closing Date and Time
Date: 8th July 2026
Time: 12:00 Noon (East Africa Time)
Tenders must be received on or before the stated closing date and time.
Opening of Tenders
Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter at the Alego Usonga Sub-County Offices in the presence of tenderers or their authorized representatives who choose to attend.
Late tenders shall be rejected.
