Overview
KeLCoP supports livestock-keeping households in Siaya to improve incomes, food security and market participation through sustainable production and stronger value chains.
Project objective
Project Objective
To sustainably increase the incomes and improve the livelihoods of 10,319 poor livestock-keeping households, benefiting an estimated 43,239 people, with particular emphasis on women and youth across four selected wards in Siaya County.
The project promotes environmentally sustainable livestock production, improved household nutrition, economic empowerment, and inclusive participation in livestock value chains.
Target Beneficiaries
The project targets vulnerable livestock-dependent households, with the following beneficiary distribution:

Expected Outcomes
The project seeks to achieve increased household incomes, improved livestock productivity, enhanced food and nutrition security, greater economic opportunities for women and youth, and environmentally sustainable livestock management practices.
Through targeted interventions, the project will contribute to poverty reduction, strengthened household resilience, and sustainable rural economic development in Siaya County.

Beneficiary guidance
