The Department of Health and Sanitation is responsible for ensuring accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare services for all county residents. It oversees the planning, management, and delivery of health services across hospitals, health centers, and community health units. The department focuses on preventive, promotive, curative, and rehabilitative healthcare, guided by national and county health policies. It also manages programs on disease control, maternal and child health, immunization, nutrition, and reproductive health.
