Residents of Ligega and neighbouring communities yesterday benefited from a medical camp held at Ligega Health Centre, Ugunja Ward in Siaya County, with the KMET clinic on wheels facilitating access to essential healthcare services.
The outreach provided residents with an opportunity to receive medical consultations, health screenings, diagnosis and other vital medical services, while promoting preventive healthcare and the importance of regular medical check-ups for early detection and timely treatment of health conditions.
Such community-based initiatives play a crucial role in improving access to quality and affordable healthcare, especially for vulnerable populations who may face barriers to accessing medical facilities.
