Siaya County Government Officials represented Governor James Orengo through the Department of Governance Administration and ICT in delivering supplies to Students of Got Abiero Secondary School following the recent fire outbreak in their school. The incident saw one dormitory razed down and a number of property destroyed. Chief Officer for Governance and Administration Mr.Joseph Omondi led the team in donating 70 mattresses, 70 blankets and 100 roofing sheets.He noted that the relief items were an interim intervention from Governor Orengo and encouraged the students to exercise patience while necessary steps are taken in ensuring a new dormitory block is put up.The Chief Officer was flanked by the Area MCA Hon Eunice Ndolo,Director Governance Mr Francis Aola ,Director Disaster management and Bondo Sub county Administrator Mr. Vincent Kanyangonda.
