The Siaya County Choir excelled at the KICOSCA event in Kakamega. The Siaya County Choir put forth a stunning performance at the Kenya Inter-Counties Sports and Cultural Association (KICOSCA) tournament, which had been held at Booker Academy in Kakamega. In the cultural events, Siaya’s choir earned 85 and 83 points on a set piece and their own composition songs, respectively. Siaya County choir secured position 4 on set piece, while its own composition (Anga Uzuri Kwa Wanagatuzi) was position 6 out of the 47 counties that participated in the activities. The Siaya choir secured the 7th rank in the Taarab borrowed dance. With an astonishing 83 points in their set piece performance, the choir thrilled the audience with a passionate song emphasizing the importance of KICOSCA in promoting international cooperation and peace.
The performance honored KICOSCA's role in bringing people together and urged county employees to get involved with a variety of sports, including football, swimming, athletics, and boxing.
