On 17th March 2025, the Acting CECM for Governance, Administration, and ICT, Mrs. Grace Agola, Chief Officer Hon. Walter Okelo, and Director of Transport, Mr. George Obare, received two executive vehicles purchased from CFAO Mobility Kenya.
The two vehicles will be used by both Governor James Orengo and the CECM for Public Works, Roads, Transport, and Energy.
The vehicles came equipped with a checklist of standard accessories, including a toolbox, a first aid kit, a spare wheel, wheel caps, and a warranty book, among others.
CFAO pledged to dispatch a trainer within a week to instruct the drivers on how to handle the vehicles.
According to Hon. Okelo, the County Government of Siaya anticipates the delivery of one more executive vehicle within a month to facilitate movement within the county.
