William is an experienced technology leader who brings more than 25 years of industry expertise. He is a dynamic, driven and results orientated executive with a demonstrable track record of building strong teams, driving sustainable and ethical business growth while delivering innovative approaches to value creation through trusted relationships not only within the organization but also across vendors, partners and customers.
An accomplished Senior Executive with the vision and leadership insights to strategically plan, direct and control company operations to expand mature business and to capitalize on emerging and often virgin business opportunities. A corporate bottom-line and matrix executive with a proven track record of achieving double digit compounded sales increases through trusted relationships with large, medium and small companies and strategic management of multiple divisions across businesses and geographies.

Mr. Oduol was until recently, President, Gorilla Corporation (a leading global channel development and digital marketing firm) in Middle East & Africa. He has engineered new powerful concept, interweaving the benefits of distribution with that of channel development and digital marketing best practices.
William comes with significant social, political and networking capital having been a state officer. Until June 2020, he sat on the Board of Lake Victoria South Water Works Development Agency, a parastatal under the Ministry of Water and Sanitation, in Kenya. The agency is the owner and custodian of water and sewerage assets/infrastructure across the eight counties in Nyanza and Rift Valley provinces with an asset portfolio worth US $ 1 Billion.
William was until June 2016 the CEO of Westcon-Comstor Group’s business (US $ 200 Million turnover) across Pan Emerging Africa. He made extraordinary progress in growing the Africa business, driving high margin growth and making Westcon the fastest growing Value added distributor in the continent. He joined Westcon Africa in December 2008 from Microsoft where he was Head of Channel Business and OEM Lead for East and Southern Africa. He has extensive experience of the Global/African continent and that of management of People, vendors and partners, coupled with a solid operational finance, marketing and sales background. He has also held senior leadership roles, driving partner and distribution excellence with other recognized brands.
A Chartered Accountant and a Certified Secretary, William's prior employers include Coca-Cola Africa where he was Field Marketing Manager, Microsoft – Head of Channel Business and OEM Lead, Mustek and East Africa's leading Mobile Communication Service Provider, Safaricom as Sales Manager. Besides holding a BSc. Degree and an MBA in Strategic Management, William is currently completing his PhD in Leadership and Governance at JKUAT. He is also founding Chairman of Denge Community Outreach Programme (DECOP), a CBO that deals in sustainable livelihoods in Siaya county
