Siaya County Governor James Orengo Distributes 158 tons of Certified Seeds Worth kshs40 million

Siaya County Governor James Orengo accompanied by his Deputy William Oduol commenced the distribution of 158 tons of certified seeds worth 40 million to the farming community across six sub counties. The early maturing seeds which were distributed free of charge can yield up to a maximum of 20 - 50kg bags per acre when good agricultural practices are adhered to. The Governor says his main objective is to improve food security and empower residents of Siaya economically.
